Delete VS Dissolve

By default, pressing X opens the Delete menu, which offers two main types of operations: Delete removes selected elements and any dependent geometry. For example, deleting an edge at the corner of two faces will also delete the connected faces. Dissolve, on the other hand removes elements while preserving the surrounding geometry, maintaining the mesh’s overall shape and structure.
