Quick intro to Booleans

Booleans let you quickly edit meshes non-destructively. While Booleans can be performed natively, it is strongly recomanded to use Addons to speed up the workflow. You can start with Blender’s free BoolTool (download it from the Extensions menu). To use it: select the Tool Mesh, then Shift-select the Target Mesh. Use CTRL + + (Add), CTRL + – (Subtract), or CTRL + * (Intersect). The add-on will automatically set the correct modifier and change some display settings on the selected objects.

Note: Booleans are widely used but can be performance-heavy (especially with the "Exact" solver) and are sensitive to their position in the modifier stack—this is crucial when using Subdivision.
