Smooth mesh editing with proportional editing

To smoothly edit multiple vertices at once, use Proportional Editing. In Edit Mode, press O to enable it. Select part of your mesh, then select the tool of your choice (hereG to move). While holding your tool shortcut, use the mouse scroll wheel to adjust the area of influence—vertices inside the circle will be affected. You can tweak Proportional Editing settings from the top bar in the 3D Viewport.
